How to display a photo as a 360 panorama photo in Irista?

We are proud to announce that we've started supporting 360 photos in Irista. We built a new photo viewer which allows you to turn around in the scene of your 360 photos.

Irista recognizes a photo as a 360 panorama photo, when the following metadata tags are located within the photo:
  • ProjectionType (= equirectangular)
  • CroppedAreaImageWidthPixels (= XXX_pixels)
  • CroppedAreaImageHeightPixels (= YYY_pixels)
  • FullPanoWidthPixels (= XXX_pixels)
  • FullPanoHeightPixels (= YYY_pixels)
  • CroppedAreaLeftPixels (= 0)
  • CroppedAreaTopPixels (= 0)
Therefore, in order to make sure a photo is displayed as a 360 panorama photo, please check if all the above metadata tags are present in the photo. If not, you would have to add them manually.

We suggest you to use ExifTool (created by Phil Harvey) for listing and adding metadata tags to your photos.
